Students will be introduced to the basic methods and materials specifically designed to develop their skills in miniature painting
After the initial exploration of of techniques and materials, students will progress to an individual project developing their own choice of image.
Specialist materials and equipment will be provided e.g. parchment paper, miniature brushes, magnifiers, gold inks, etc.
Throughout the programme we will be referring to examples of miniature painting and illuminated manuscripts - much fun to be discovered in the work of those most interesting scribes.
